WORDS INTO MOTIONCreating video content specifically for corporate intranets and websites
This year one third of internet users watched a TV, film or video clip online compared to just over 1 in 10 last year.
Iain Dale, founder of successful online TV channel 18doughtystreet.com says:
“Within five years every major company and brand will effectively have their own online TV channel”
We agree, as our founding partner Kate Garraway, says on our own video [here]:
“Video on the internet. It seems everybody’s watching it. Well, if they’re not, they will be soon.
Cisco systems say video will account for 30% of internet use in the next few years and more and more people are watching video on the web.
But our new company, Flow video has analysed the top 100 UK companies (report to be published January 2008) and only a handful have websites that use video properly. Many businesses don’t have any video in their websites at all.
Yet internet users, especially younger ones, expect, indeed demand, video content. So if you don’t have any video content on your company web site – well, you really should.
